Operations prior to loading or unloading.
For each shipment, the shipper must check regulatory compliance with the applicable headings, in each case, of the list of checks for loading/unloading of dangerous goods contained in Annex 2 of this Royal Decree. The shipper may not start loading a transport unit if it does not comply with the regulatory requirements of the headings included in the sections: “documentation”, “state of the equipment of the transport unit” and “checks prior to loading”.
The unloader must also check the safety aspects of unloading operations.
