On March 22, 2017, EU Regulation No. 2017/542 was published, which introduces changes to EC Regulation No. 1272/2008 by adding a new annex.
Annex VIII – Harmonized information on emergency health response and preventive measures.
Annex VIII was amended on October 29, 2019 by EU Delegated Regulation No. 2020/11 and subsequently by EU Delegated Regulation No. 2020/1677, which is currently in force.
Prior to the entry into force of Regulation (EU) No. 2017/542, each EU member state independently managed the notification of mixtures to the responsible centers in each country.

All affected products must be notified under the new regulation by January 2025.
At present, any new communication or update must be carried out in accordance with Annex VIII of the CLP Regulation.
Notifications made under the procedure in force prior to the entry into force of Annex VIII will remain valid until January 2025.
